Inside Sales/Customer Service Professional

Due to a growing market, McKernan Packaging Clearing House is seeking a highly-motivated and enthusiastic person to join our team as Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative. If you love to help people and small businesses get started in the retail world, are enthusiastic and love learning new things, this is the right position for you. Our ideal candidate must be customer focused, have strong verbal and written communication skills, be comfortable using basic computer software programs, and live in the northern Nevada area. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling inbound and outbound sales calls, emails and web requests with current and potential customers from around the world.
• Following up on sales leads that are generated by current sales lists, inbound calls and website requests.
• Generating new and repeat sales, by recommending appropriate products, cross-selling and up-selling.
• Being customer-focused, professional, and courteous.
• Following through with each sale from the beginning to the end, including regular follow-ups.
• Maintaining current customer files.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Three (3) years of customer service or inside sales experience
• Command of the English language, both oral & written
• Computer proficiency in Windows, Internet, Word, Outlook/Email, Web Applications, etc.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Basic math skills
• Ability to multi-task with attention to detail
• Professional appearance, positive attitude and dependability/stability a must
